About Me

Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m Susan Jarka Haemmerle—though many lovingly call me SuZen. I’m a wife, a mom to two wonderful daughters and an adorable Yorkie Poo. I love starting my mornings with a walk, and I’m always eager to learn, grow, and evolve.

I first turned to yoga when my daughters were in middle school. Struggling with anxiety, I asked my doctor for something to help my mood. His recommendation? Yoga. From my very first class, I felt its incredible ability to bring peace and stability into my life.

After completing my 200-hour yoga teacher training, I deepened my practice with a 30-hour chair yoga program. Now, I specialize in slow flow and chair yoga, with a strong focus on mindfulness and meditation.

My goal is to create a welcoming space for students of all ages and abilities, helping them build strength, flexibility, and inner peace. My classes emphasize breath awareness, intentional movement, and relaxation techniques - making yoga accessible and deeply nourishing for both body and mind.

Whether guiding a soothing slow flow sequence or offering supportive chair-based practices, I strive to help my students move with ease, find stillness, and connect with their inner calm.
